Lana is an actor, director, and educator with roots in Western Canada.
She is currently based in Buffalo, New York
ACTOR
Lana has performed in theatres across Canada and
the US and is represented by Docherty Agency in
Cleveland. She is a lover of comedy, poetic text, and
dynamic, full-bodied work. Lana earned an MFA in
Acting from Kent State University and is a Certified Teacher
of the Michael Chekhov Technique through the Great Lakes
Michael Chekhov Consortium.
DIRECTOR
As a director, Lana is drawn to actor-driven
work, Canadian content, feminist themes, and the
integration of music and movement. Currently she
is directing Three Sisters (Ruhl) at University at Buffalo.
EDUCATOR
Lana is currently an Assistant Professor of Theatre
at University at Buffalo. Previously she has taught at
University of Minnesota Morris, Kent State University,
University of Akron, and Malone University.
